Schleimann Motorsport Management
Through his experience in the Danish banking business, Flemming Schleimann has worked himself towards a career in motorsports. After years of working in the financial sector, he became the circuit manager of Sturup Raceway in Sweden, responsible for renewing the circuit and its facilities to meet modern standards. In a few years, the circuit grew from 4 to 14 employees, got high level international licenses and increased the profit with 50 percent every year. The Scandinavian race series opened their eyes for the circuit, and since 2005, Sturup Raceway has hosted several race weekends for the Danish Touringcar Championship, the Swedish Touring Car Championship, alongside lots of trackdays and events. Flemming were also involved in plans of expanding the circuit with a rallycross layout. Since 1999, Flemming has been involved with Fluid Motorsport Scandinavia, who in cooperation with Fluid Motorsport Development helps Danish motorsport talents progress from their national Formula Ford championship to international formula championships in three years. The team has enjoyed many successes, i.e. with Marco Sørensen, who is a “Formula One Apprentice” at Renault F1 today, and Dennis Lind, who in 2009 won the Danish Formula Ford Championship.
